Sour Cream Apple Pie

2 tablespoons flour
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sour cream
6 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
a 9-inch graham cracker crust

1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup flour
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup butter, creamed

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Thoroughly combine all pie ingredients except apples and crust.
Add the apples to the sour cream mixture and toss gently to evenly
coat apple slices. Pour apple mixture into crust. Bake for 15
minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue baking an additional
30 minutes. Immediately upon removing pie from the oven, raise the
oven temperature to 400 degrees.

Topping: Combine all topping ingredients and crumble over the warm
pie. Return the pie to the oven and bake for 10 minutes. Serve
warm or cold.
