Pecan Pie

1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup brown sugar
4 tbsps butter
1/4 tbsp. salt
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup broken pecans
Crust for 1-crust 8-inch pie

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Heat the honey and sugar together to
form a syrup, remove from heat. Stir in the butter and salt.
Gradually stir in the beaten eggs, vanilla, and pecans. Allow to
cool.

Pour the cooled mixture into a chilled pastry-lined pie pan. Bake
for 10 minutes at 400 degrees F. then reduce heat to 325 degrees
F and bake for 30 minutes longer.
